As soon as it is able to re-open, the Centre Pompidou-Metz will present an exhibit devoted to Marc Chagall that explores the importance of stained-glass windows in the artist\u2019s work.<\/p>\n

The exhibit displays scale models of the stained-glass windows Chagall created for numerous buildings between 1958 and 1984. The models will be viewed alongside a group of paintings, sculptures, ceramics and drawings from the collections of the Centre Pompidou, the Mus\u00e9e National Marc Chagall, and from other international museums and private collections.<\/p>\n

Chagall. The Emissary of Light<\/em>\u00a0is part of the celebrations for the 800th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of the cathedral of Metz, in which several stained-glass windows were created by Marc Chagall.<\/p>\n

The quality of the exhibit has already been acclaimed by the press.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
